Upholstered in a soft to touch stretch knit fabric, the Duramatic motion adjustable bed features medium firm pocket springs and generous layers of white fibre fillings. The mattress features a traditional hand tufted finish thats achieved by passing nylon tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with woollen tufts. Sandwiched between these deep fillings is a pocket spring sleep system thats made up of small diameter springs with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve. The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to the neck, lower back and hip area. The base features sprung slats for added comfort and a 5-way hinged mechanism that offer customised support to all parts of the body, resulting in reduced aches and pains. The bed ends can be raised or lowered together or separately to a position of comfort, while lumber adjusters can increase or decrease the firmness in the lower back area.
